Moses Herrera
About Me
Moses Herrera has been in the mortgage industry for 26 years, and if there’s one thing he’s learned, it’s that putting customers first never goes out of style. His philosophy has always been simple: put people in the right loan, look out for their best interests, communicate clearly, and get the job done. He takes pride in fast funding, closing on time, and making sure his clients understand their options every step of the way.
Moses isn’t a high-pressure salesman. His job is to educate, answer questions, explain the pros and cons, and help people make smart financial decisions. Sometimes that means telling someone what they don’t want to hear, and he’s perfectly comfortable doing that. He’d rather have an honest conversation than tell someone what they want to hear just to earn their business. Over the years, he’s handled loans ranging from $50,000 to $5 million, so he’s seen just about every type of mortgage scenario you can imagine. His experience includes Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Non-QM, private money, brokered loans, and direct lending. He’s also worked on the banking side of the business, which gives him a pretty good understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of big banks, smaller mortgage companies, and everything in between.
Moses speaks Spanish, is never afraid of a tough question, and doesn’t disappear when things get complicated. Good news or bad news, he’s going to answer his phone. He believes communication and accountability are two of the most important things in this business. He’s also a big believer in teamwork. He brings a lot of energy to what he does, and he genuinely enjoys helping the people around him succeed. To Moses, success isn’t just about how well you perform individually. It’s about making the entire team better.
Outside of work, his 13-year-old daughter is his world. Nothing comes before her. He’s also an avid reader and a huge fan of Stephen King, Don Winslow, and George R. R. Martin. He loves working out, playing golf, spending time at the beach, and enjoying life. After 26 years, Moses still loves what he does. There’s something pretty rewarding about helping someone buy their first home, improve their financial situation, or accomplish something they didn’t think was possible. At the end of the day, his goal isn’t just to close another loan. It’s to earn your trust, do right by you, and be the person you feel comfortable calling whenever you have a mortgage question.
